Sanders Inc., the Past, Present and Future
In 1973 Roy Sanders started Sanders Plumbing and Heating, with one pickup truck. Roy worked from his home with his eldest son Ed. In 1974, Roy's son Tom graduated from high school and took up the trade with his father and brother. The business outgrew his home, so Roy purchased a building in North York which was an early 1900's cigar factory and later home to Chic's Atlantic Station. With much tender loving care, it became the new office and shop in 1978 for what soon became R. E. Sanders Inc. Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical. Roy is still active in running the business and with his son Tom as president, the company continues to grow. In an effort to keep focused on "Quality Customer Service", the company has appointed managers for each department. The plumbing departments manager, Dave Hahn, has 12 years with the company and continues to specialize in well pump systems and water conditioning while taking care of all your general plumbing needs. The HVAC department has played a key part in the growth and quality of service at R. E. Sanders Inc. Ron Hill joined the

management team in Octoer 2001 as HVAC manager. Since that time the company's sales and service of various types and makes of heating and air conditioning equipment has soared. Speacializing in Luxaire furnaces, Weil Mclain boilers, and Water Furnace geo thermal heat pumps. The company has also placed a large emphasis on duct cleaning, humidification, UVC protection and the ever growing concerns for indoor air quality. Last, but not least, is the Electrical department. Ron Hill is also the manager. He has been able to complete the company's ability to service and install any equipment, both residential or industrial, related to the three trades. Realizing that power outages and surges can interrupt our daily lives because of our growing dependence on electrical appliances and computers, Ron and his department have decided the time is right to promote the use of stand-by emergency generators. Generators can be used as partial, whole house, or business electrical generation. The challenge of keeping business as usual when your home or business power is interrupted for days or hours has become a whole lot easier at R. E. Sanders Inc. Let us service you, and you'll see the quality work we do!

How To Protect Your Investment
The plumbing in your home needs maintenance to stay in working condition. In the winter, all hoses should be removed from the faucets to prevent freezing. The quality of your well water should be tested for chemicals and bacteria which will ensure it is safe for your family to drink. Many gallons of water can be saved by having leaking faucets and toilets repaired. Your home HVAC system is the heart of total home comfort. The equipment should have preventative maintenance performed yearly to keep it at optimum working performance. The homeowner should clean or replace the air filter monthly. The ductwork in your home may have accumulated dust and dirt over the years. Every time the HVAC system runs this dust and dirt becomes air born in your home. With a home electrical surge supressor installed in your electrical box, your home will be proteced from lightening strikes and power surges. This can protect your computer and phones also. Over loaded electrical panels can cause fires in your home.
